Sorry, I mistyped that. I watched dub first on Adult Swim. I watched the sub like 6 or 7 years later on a bootleg DVD set.

Yeah, one of the few properties I've watched in both dub and sub to completion (helps that it's not really that long). I watched the sub first on TV, because getting anime was a bit harder in 2001. I had only had broadband internet for like 3 months at that point.

I would give the dub a consideration. I think the primary 4 dub cast is slightly stronger (particularly Spike and Jet), however, nearly every secondary character is better in the sub.

Bebop is dope, but I often wonder if my love of it is colored by when I saw it (I was 15 when it was on Adult Swim.). Interested to see how it hits for you.
