Great editor choice. What about elixir motivated you to choose it?

There are certain types of posts that ignite a kind of criticism that is not rational. We're better off not posting them online unless we want something.

I resonate with the feeling. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

But living in fear is no way to live life. We should stand up for the truth regardless.

In this case it is that 'I used to be like this in the past, but now I am not'.

It's certainly a more idealistic view than practical. Because often people choose the other way.

I like to be as honest as I can even in public unless it's endangers my life.

But I understand why people will still delete past beliefs from the internet.

The fundamental emotion behind this action, I believe, is fear.

Fear of something dear being taken away.

Now, that I read my comment again, it comes off as a bit harsh/violent. I didn't intend it to sound that way. Just genuinely curious.

Why did you delete the tweets though? Even if you don't agree with them anymore, what's the purpose of deleting them?

I did the same. Deeply relatable especially the "writing junk" part.

truth/reality. So, defaulting to being empathetic and switching to core objective views when required would be a sane config to stay in.

I resonate with the feeling. It took long for me to come to that realisation. Having said that, I still struggle with being empathetic in a lot of situations.

It shows how we treat ourselves more than how we treat others.

Most conversations we have are led by emotions rather than objective /1

Because you're doing it so often, your brain naturally prepares itself for those situations and keeps related instances/topics fresh.

Unrelated information gets sidetracked or completely lost in the process.

That's why the emotional well being is so important. Without memory, there's no 'self'.

Instead of forcing our way to achieve our singularly minded goals, by any means.

We could have our contexts (values) visible to everyone that speaks about our fundamental needs. And a mandatory teaching in understanding others values and expressing our own, would prevent most if not all the issues.

That leads to a conclusion that whenever we communicate, we should have the clarity of context in which we are talking.

All the conflicts and misunderstandings are caused by us interacting with each other, in different contexts. If contexts align and we could collaborate on reaching a common goal.

Now I wonder if it's even worth it. Heard Colemak is much better. I tried it a bit and found it better myself.

On to the Colemak now.

That's a self shadow ban.

Is this book that popular? I thought it's one of those niche ones that a select few know about.

I being obsessed with self help at the time, still didn't know about it.
