So... I have a lot of hornworms that grew too big way too quickly to be my geckos' food. They're now my pet until they die of old age as moth.
About a dozen of adult-sized hornworms in a container with leaves, mesh, plastic lid, follaics, sticks, soil, sliced grape tomatoes, and spinaches. Upclose to one worm eating tomato upside down with back bent backward. Upclose of a worm face munching on a tomato seed.

Afterthought note by Sakeozo. This comic uses ketchup as a playful analogy to show ordinary opinions can slide into prejudice and control. The steps aren't a fixed sequence, any of them can happen in different orders under the umbrella of authoritarianism. It's meant to simplify a complex topic and spark curiosity, not be a full explanation. If you're interested, dig deeper into how bigotry, fascist, and authoritarian systems develop. The camera thinks to itself, "Activity logged, submitting to the watchlist database..." Stochastic Terror. Short-format video on mobile phone, a tomato saying, "These ketchies are plotting to poison the mustard supply." And beyond the mobile phone, there is a lone mustard flower person who recently shopped looks around the surround, to notice many disgruntled tomato people judging with hatred looking at her. Fascism. A higher-up tomato person that looks evil recently signed an executive order, saying, "From this day on, only mustard is allowed. Thank you for your attention on this matter." In the background the impact can be seen with police brutality, like one egg person got slammed to the ground that the yolk come spilling out, mustard flower being detained, and a soybean runs away.

Authoritarianism rarely starts loud. It starts with small digs, it is the kind you shrug off until it’s too late.

When I first saw @/drbbayrutie’s ketchup analogy on Threads, it clicked and I wanted to elevate her post and show how these patterns grow. This comic is my take. Enjoy! 🍅
Opinion. A tomato person says condescendingly, "Ketchup is the worst. Bullying. Three-panel of bullying behaviors, starting from top and going counter-clockwise. First panel is a tomato person flipping off at mustard flower and egg eating their hotdogs with ketchup, saying, "Anyone who likes ketchup is an idiot!" Next panel is soybean getting pantsed by two tomato bullies, one takes picture of his three-peas crotch. Next panel is a mustard flower looking at the note with crude drawing of the mustard flower with a bunch of insulting words written on it. Bigotry. Few tomato protesting in front of Ketchup Craft, one holding "Ketchup lovers are dangerous" and yelling out loud, "Keep our society safe!" Oppression. Tomato grabs petition paper off of egg's clipboard and says, "No one should be allowed to have ketchup!"

I felt inspired to do semi-realistic rendering. How do I feel? Well, it was okay. It's not my favorite, but I have learned and now I know what works and doesn't works.

Alright, I see you just blocked me. I shall return the favor so more people knows. This is my story.

This brings up a question about your values. You preach on things like healing, bringing up hard conversation, and communication, but there has been not ONE time we ever talked it out for 7+ years.
Sakeozo got blocked by Deaf Counseling Center. Destiny Slater left a Google review for Deaf Counseling Center- "I do not recommend Deaf Counseling Center. After being pressured to participate in a FB group event that promoted harmful ideas such as "curing" autism, in opposition to widely accepted neurodiversity principles, I chose to stand by my values and declined. Rather than respecting my decision, I was met with angry silence and was subsequently blocked across multiple platforms. Esp after when I expressed concerns regarding their handling of a Deaf community greiving crisis and questioned the transparency of their so-called “pro bono” efforts, I was completely excluded and they clearly did not like that. I think this is not characteristic of a trauma-informed practice. Avoiding accountability, silencing respectful feedback, and terminating dialogue are significant red flags, particularly for a clinic that claims to support the Deaf and neurodivergent communities. Such behavior suggests a lack of authenticity, integrity, and cultural competence. I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere that is truly safe, affirming, and community-centered. This problem has been going on between us for probably 7+ years and not one time we had a follow-up conversation that would hold either one of us accountable to improve from this, and as a result, we never had a closure and what they are doing is destructive, and I'd hate for this experience to happen to you too. Consider this as a beware. Find someone else. Reach out to your state and/or city's Deaf center resource, reach out around for local/remote ASL-speaking therapist, and talk to your other Deaf friends for other recommendations. They'll treat you better with less harm."
