It would work if it was kosher, but all the kosher grape juice ive found is pretty sugary

Unfortunately not, there are very specific rules especially about wine related products that are different.

Quit drinking ten weeks ago and am still searching for a good kosher alternative to wine at kiddush, but there aren’t any good NA “wines” that are kosher. I may use fancy espresso…
