All their songs sound like them, but different as well. It's hard to describe. Like a good rock band. Boston is Boston, but it's not all "More Than a Feeling."

My favorite song is Azalea, which is a cover, taken from a poem written during the Japanese occupation of Korea in the early 20th Century, the language encoded because speaking out against them was...dangerous.

But I'd be doing a disservice to the other ladies if I didn't mention that everyone is on point. From the drummer--she of the stunning gaze--to the bassist, and the two guitarists, they're all damn good at what they do.

Much of it's the vocalist. She's top tier. But it's also in the arrangements. They're not doing the same sorts of thing in every song, though you kinda know what to expect.

I'd rather talk to a person than a robot and I don't even like people very much right now.

If I post, it's going to be goofy fanboy stuff or about my writing. I'm not going to be posting about politics for a while. If ever. Donald Trump is a fucking tool and so are all his supporters. So what?

Part of it is my utter disdain for many, if not most, of the arguments going on out there. Feel like I'm singing into the wind. Nobody's listening, nobody cares. So have fun.

In that spirit, I'm probably taking a long step back from politics. Given it's been a special interest for nearly half my life, it's not easy. But I'm fucking exhausted.

I've come to the conclusion people don't actually give a shit about my opinion. Or anyone else's for that matter. And maybe they shouldn't.

Then there are those who regularly ask us to abandon some of our members to appease one group or another. The "swing" voters, who pretty much resent it when their straight white bread asses aren't the first priority, aren't worth chasing. We should be chasing the disaffected and disenfranchised.

The democratic party will barely make a move if they don't believe it has popular support. It's why they're condemned as not being leaders. Other people have to go out on the limb. If it does well, the party will prop it up, even stand to die on a particular hill if it seems warranted.

You make the WORST allies.

I myself just consider him a writer who requires me to wipe my shoes after I've read one of his articles to get all the dog mess off.

But we LOVE our albatross.
