Titled Bluebeard's Last Wife, this piece is a homage to my love for dark folklore 🌹 It's been like over a year since I've rendered a complete personal illustration and I feel fulfilled. Hoping to do some more pieces like this for my portfolio since the tariffs have basically halted my launches.

A little deviation from my usual colorful art - some Japanese Horror pieces I did for Katsucon badges this year!
A yukionna, or snow woman, breathing in the life of a young man as snow falls around them The Furutsubaki-no-rei, a yokai that resides inside camellia trees, appears as a woman within a camellia tree. Her neck is subtly severed because camellia flowers die by dropping all the petals at once, like a severed head cut by a sword. A hone-onna, or a bone woman, carries a lotus lantern. Where the light touches is a beautiful woman, and where there is shadow, is the bones of her skeleton. The hari-onna, or harionago, is a woman with barbed hair. She is dashing forward with clawed hands out of the mist as bright red blood coats her sharp strands.

We are at Magfest this weekend at table 77! Got in last minute via waitlist so I had to work my dayjob around it, which means 3 12 hr shifts in a row going straight into 4 Magfest days. Pray for me yall 🙏

Unloading another series: The Witch and The Fiend sequence 🐈 follow them to the Starlit Coven ⭐️⭐️⭐️
A fiend jumps through a witch's garden, surprising the little witch. A cottage in the backdrop of a woody clearing Witch chases the fiend, as glowing flying fish gather around them as they leap through the woods The fiend takes the witch up to the precipice as the flying fish around them become gradually larger, such as a pale sunfish swimming lazily beside them. They reach the Starlit Coven, a group of three witches gathered together to summon the sea creatures of the sky, each glowing in the darkening sky as the sun emits it's last rosy rays over the horizon.
