in chile we use "pasaito de [TIME]" to say that, its like a diminutive of exceeded/passed, guess a translation would be rather close to "a lil past [TIME]"

and if fantasy, powder might be a lil easier to get hands on (based on setting), so maybe they evolve a lil quicker, mostly in ergonomics, mechanism can be expected to evolve just as fast with no fantasy metals or such... yes, that means that a dwarf could make a black powder revolver, maybe.

I like it when theres few very short lines, like what smash does, some of the mario games with the "lets-a go!" what old monhun did, adding a lil giberish to put a voice (or meows) on a character and have the rest be text.
