Not sure. I feel like people are just less patient and more demanding overall. Moving away from early adopters as our customer base grows is definitely not helping with that.

I never understood why anyone would pay that much for something like that, but it's just a fascinating business to me.

I mean, you kinda can do something. But… I also feel like smaller problems would happen _a lot_ more often than a major incident at one of the big providers. I sleep better not having to worry about it, tbh. 😅

No matter where you move to, there‘re always going to be issues one way or another. I vividly remember when we hosted everything ourselves and one had to drive to the data center to replace the memory of our server at 4am in the morning. Good times! 😅

Unabhängig davon: Großartiges Tool!

Side note: I‘m doing a ton of work on my old M1 11“ iPad Pro lately. Considering upgrading to the new M5 13“, but that thing seems to be a lot less practical in terms of size and weight… 🤔

From my POV (we are hosting a podcast for our target group; therapists in Austria/Germany):
Maintaining one is an incredible amount of work. If you‘re not doing it just for the fun of it, it‘s also still hard to measure the „success“, compared to other marketing tools, unfortunately.

I don‘t see anything wrong with that. Plus, one gets to hang out with a bunch of great people. 👌
