Okay… I want to share a poem I wrote about a piece of art I saw… I suppose I could mark it graphic. I mean, it isn’t, exactly. It’s a body part. But I suppose not everyone wants to see it.
Maybe I’ll mark it and put the poem in the alt text.

A 10-girl dorm means waiting for a bathroom.
I swear one person was in there for an hour and a half last night. I was reading and was aware of the shower, then occasionally would become aware of it again. Around 2 I was like, she's *still* in there? What if she passed out?
She came out at 2:30.

Huh. Putting my head on a pillow seems to be helping me feel better.
I left before jazz finished. People were too loud. I had a hard cider and later a salade de chèvre and I don’t know what they did to those beets but it was like a punch to the mouth. In a good way.
Though my tongue hurts.

I think my new hostel has more steps to the 3rd floor than my last one to the “7”th. It was only a couple steps up to different sides so it kind of doubled the floors.
And this hostel has a bar, but as I haven’t eaten, that seems like something I should avoid right now.

Long short drive today. It was supposed to be just about three hours. Took more than four and then I drove in circles.
I drove into a snowstorm. My brain hurts a little from tension. I only lost traction once I hit the city.
Turns out I do remember how to drive in snow.

Just wrote a text and scheduled it for morning then added someone else to it which made me have to retype the whole thing. I hit send but apparently the scheduling didn't work, either, so I just sent all my work people a text at 2:50am to tell them I'm coming to work late.
Hahaha. Oh, that's so me.

I’m not ready for Christmas music in general but I did start rehearsals for the 1st part of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday and now I’m listening to Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker Suite at the Pens game.
This is the only acceptable Nutcracker, IMO.

I’m afraid to say it, but I think today might actually be okay.
Like, so far I’ve been able to get done the things I needed to get done. I forgot about a meeting but it’s not until 3 and I’ve done 4/5 of the work I need to do for it and should be able to finish it up by then.
What am I forgetting?
