It feels like this really shows how Juric wants to play. High fullbacks getting balls into the box and making it hard to contain them. However it's harder doing it against premier league teams #SaintsFC

Even though it's a cup game, today feels like a big moment for Juric. Any initial optimism was knocked back after Brentford which puts pressure on a performance today. Whether it's the players not implementing his ideas, or a more fundamental issue it doesn't really matter #SaintsFC

It's a huge couple of weeks ahead now for Juric to get his ideas on the pitch and for us to see an improvement

I think today we will see another improvement in style as Juric has had more time to work with the players. Then just one cup game now for the next 12 days should give him more time to implement his ideas. Although we haven't got the results it's been an encouraging start #SaintsFC

I was always undecided about sacking Martin for quite a while. But ultimately the refusal to change when it seemed we weren't improving was the thing that swung it for me. The line up is largely as expected, the surprises with big Les, Tall Paul, and Armstrong aren't that surprising. I can see Dibling working from the bench. Also good to see Lallana on the bench as he offers something different as well. It could be a big first 45 minutes for a few players #SaintsFC

At home, on boxing day. First games don't come much bigger than they do today for Juric! A good performance with lots of energy will go a long way, and maybe if we can get some sort of result it would be massive to build on #SaintsFC

Really interesting listening to Juric's first press conference. It's going to take some time until we fully see his system in place. It sounds like he will be pragmatic about it, introducing new things gradually so the players aren't overwhelmed #SaintsFC 1/2

Great point today. It wasn't the prettiest of games, but a clean sheet away from home cannot be underestimated this season. Although it felt like we were never going to win the game, it was nice to see us looking more solid and more pragmatic. Let's see what Juric can bring to that #SaintsFC

I saw someone complaining that Juric has never had a win rate of more than 40%. I think this really shows the level of delusion amongst the modern football fan. We have had one manager in our premier league history who had a win rate of more than 40%. And that was Koeman... #SaintsFC 1/2

Sounds like we are conducting interviews today with the managers we have permission to speak to. Alfie has alluded to the 3 names in the media being in the mix, but also we are talking to more than 3 #SaintsFC

Sky are reporting we are in talks with Rohl... Out of all the managers we are linked with this is the one that excites me the most. Maybe it's just because of the previous links with our club. But it would feel like a progressive appointment and we don't know how high his ceiling is #SaintsFC
