What makes anyone think this will not get worse? OR, at the very least, be just as bad each and every year going forward? Who is going to pay as every year $BILLIONS fo dollars (and increasingly scarce resources!) will need to be spent on recovery. #ClimateCrisis

Certainly, if you could start all over (and 50 yrs ago when the trees might have had a chance to establish!) then yes, some of the heat impacts could have been lessened. As it is, the trend is temps are going up much too fast for a rebuild! Sadly, we’re simply out of time for that.
