I don't know who you are, but my heart goes out to you. Been there several times, and it is never easy. It is quite the price we pay to have them in our lives, but it is still worth it. ❤️

Frickin' local toll calls, man. More expensive to call my folks' house - about 40 miles away - than to call across the country. And yes, I still remember a few phone numbers that are long past useless.
