Exceptional finale to an exceptional show. Everything really ended out here in a way I loved, with characters’ traumas and pains being handled with proper respect. Ngl if I were there though therapy would have gone WAY differently just saying

The universe is not kind. The universe not being kind also makes for great television, so that part of it kinda rocks. Extremely kickass season with a lot of truly amazing episodes, more people need to talk about this show.

Making stuff is difficult to do well. This is one of those things everyone knows is true when you say it, but no one fully internalizes. It's like how you never REALLY know how difficult retail is until you do it. Difference is most people will never be forced to actually make something.

I don't mind that people are intent on buying Switch 2 and MKW at full price, but it weirds me out how righteously proud they are of it. I get it can be annoying when people try to moralize consumption, but there's a line between "I won't be shamed for being willing to pay" and findom RP.

I wish rest on any who experience Okabe’s brainrot extravaganza. Really amazing VN here, that hooked me earlier than the hook. It invaded my brain and it still lingers there now, which tells you its doing something exceptionally right. Excited for the rest of SciAdv.

Media thread time.

First consumed media of the year, similar to my last media thread. Definitely my favorite season. More ambitious and cinematic, even though there's still Telltale Jank. There's some charm in that, but it does clash with the season's (relative) seriousness. Good tho.

Maybe I'll make my desktop wallpaper P3 for completeness' sake.

Kendrick's new album is the best advertisement for therapy that I've ever seen. I want it to turn me into what it turned him into.
