I like to think that after the circus, him and Jax hang out more often. Jax is the one to get him into the world of video games and they game together. This is where most of heart-to-heart talks come from. He demolishes Jax in games (and gets rafiki’d irl) whenever Jax makes Pomni sad.

Last is Kinger. That’s just a white man who went through the gentle version of The Black Wife Effect. If he had kids they would be daughters with various skin tones. Pomni would remind him of his youngest somehow.

Ragatha is mostly white, with an immigrant mother. This is just because I could see a lot her trauma coming from assimilation issues of her mother. Being kind, polite, & cheerful all time to make yourself small and not an obvious target for harassment. IDK why but black ashkenazi is in there somehow

Just a headcanon: the reason his moments with Kinger are so parental and soothing for Jax especially is because Kinger is the kind of dad Jax needed guided and nurturing from.

Part 2. And the Charisma, trauma, daddy issues come from (mostly) his white dad. He’d be based generally on the east coast but lived in someplace like Chicago or St. Louis before entering the circus.

Now the least likelies of the group. Jax has some poc in there, but I’m not sure what or how much, still gives white causasity in his actions. But I really love how 1 fanfic marked him as half-Melungeon and that just stuck with me. So the good looks came from his mom and part 2.

Side thing: if Gangle and Pomni are both Midwest, I seem them as Michiganders but Pomni is black Lansing/Grand Rapids vibe and Gangle is a Detroit black exurban vibe.

Part 3 and final. Her being so distressed at forgetting her name and feeling *so* foreign in her avatar would really heighten the sense of existential dread of being trapped. But she is still the shortest in the group like 5’0. Also her hands are rated E for everyone. Midwest based too like Gangle.

Part 2. Something about her digital avatar being such a painted white skin tone and her being a jester but her anxiety & seriousness of the situation being a main point of her character felt so contrasting like a racist minstrel show during the depth of Jim Crow Era also….

3rd, and strangely the first I thought could be black: Pomni. First it gave black girl with extreme anxiety (may be biased). Now it’s mixed with a white mom, but a safe-space and more present black stepmom/paternal Aunt. Part 1

Second: Zooble is Afro-Latin with almost ambiguous features but for the culture it’s “IYKTYK”. Mom is Latina and Zooble grew up in a southwest urban area. She gives black Sailor Uranus vibes and Gangle loves that.
