not our halloween costumes, but @indirect.io and i got to see tokyo disneyland last week all decorated for halloween 🎃 (i’m dressed as stella lou, a tokyo disney sea character)

today is the last day to see @shirleywu.studio’s and my interactive ceramics & data science art show at such as gallery in shimokitazawa, tokyo!

i’m so proud of us!! @shirleywu.studio and i set up our collaboration art show at suchas gallery in 下北沢, tokyo which will run through 10/19!

it’s an interactive ceramics installation that shows how sakura bloom dates and maple & ginkgo color change dates have shifted over the past 7 decades

the ceramics and i made it safely to tokyo! these boxes + ranpak kept the ceramics intact in my luggage!

i’ve been experimenting with different ways to bundle together the puzzle hunt envelopes (twine, ribbon, etc), and this is my favorite so far!

it’s been about a year since i’ve started learning to bake cakes! here’s my latest, baked for @indirect.io’s birthday, an earl grey lavender cake with honey custard filling and swiss meringue buttercream icing.

algorithm and blues is about the feeling after you accomplish a big life goal, of "now what?" i was so focused on getting into my dream school, that i wasn't really sure what to do once i got there. this comic has a lot of feeling adrift, confusion, and eventually finally finding my own way.

finally starting to use the ghost glaze test tiles i designed! (the idea was making ceramic test tiles that would double as cute decorations!)

the zine talks about how i discovered pop’n music, basic gameplay, some of my favorite characters, and why i love the game!
