I was feeling the same way yesterday when I saw all the posts on Bluesky. It reminds of the protests back in 2017. The day after you have to ask, "okay, what's next?" And just like in 2017, most of them are going right back to their personal normal.

They won't have to dig that deep into the conspiracy well. They'll just blame the Dem's for allowing Maga to hit themselves.

If we have a fair election come 2026 and 2028 what is more likely to happen is Dems will come in, work to clean up the mess, people will complain they aren't cleaning fast enough and stay home for 2030 and 2032.

Considering the monumental harm, I think "Hold my Tito's" is more appropriate.

I'd narrow that down to just white men. I'm still pissed about how many people brushed aside HRC and Cecile Richards warnings about Trump moving to dismantle women's healthcare. Or Bernie endorsing an anti abortion candidate.

I've heard some try to twist Trump's win as a way to get people to start a revolution that will overthrow the current government and let the US start anew. I just can't with some of these people.
