The festivities included midnight, 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m. ceremonies. The noon ceremony featured San Antonio Postmaster Robert Carr unveiling the Love Stamp for 2025, another Valentine's Day tradition.

San Antonio’s first Krampus Parade took over Southtown and the King William Neighborhood on Thursday night.

Scores of horned demons took to the streets on Krampusnacht which is traditionally on December 5th.

According to Germanic folklore, Krampus is the opposite of St. Nicholas.

A San Antonio City Council committee took testimony on Friday from the Department of Arts and Culture’s Krystal Jones about a confluence of two elements that the city aims to bring together: art and shade.
San Antonio looks at ways to produce art that casts a cooling shade
The Alamo City has both shade deserts and art deserts, officials explained. Where they end up in the same place, the city has an opportunity to make shade happen, while also funding art.
