I asked what genre my music falls into the other day and it seems it doesn’t fall into any clear cut sub genre. So I’m just going to call it Dubstep.

The Digitakt 2 came in yesterday from Long & Mcquade. I got it all set up and ready to use on the Synth Rise stand with orange DJTechTools chroma knobs. Should hear it from track 7 onwards.

Up late working this track. Had a bit of trouble with Overbridge and recording the Syntakt/Digitone 2 over to Ableton. It looks like every recording is a hair behind on time. I’m not sure if I did something wrong or if that’s just how it is when using Overbridge? Either way the track is cooking. 🧑‍🍳

Jammed for 4 hours until 3am on the Elektron Digitone 2 and Suntakt. Had a great time with them. My biggest struggle so far has been trying to get less metallic or bleepy sounds from the Digitone 2. It’s very easy to land on a metal ding or bleeps bloop when I want something with more texture.

I don't know what I'm doing but its a lot of fun. Got something full sounding in like 3 mins. The Syntakt and Digitone 2 are crazy powerful together. The Syntakt lets me hammer out drums so I can focus on the Digitone 2. Master effects through the SP404 MKII is just 🔥

Been having a lot of trouble with the arrangement of my first track but locked in on Ableton Live yesterday and came up with something that works. I need to tweak the drums and add some transitions, maybe a longer intro and bridge but overall I see the finish line. 🙌
