Guess what, for a cut of the action trump will order Duffy to issue the waiver and hold a press conference where both Musk and Duffy praise trump.
Unless Musk gets Secretary Duffy (whom he called "Sean Dummy") to bend the rules, Cybercab output is capped at 2,500.

If Tesla heeds FMVSS by putting a steering wheel & gas/brake pedals in the Cybercab, it'll be a bigger flop than the Cybertruck. Who buys 2-seaters?

The billionaire CEO says the steering wheel-less, pedal-less Cybercab goes into production in April. But Tesla doesn’t have the regulatory exemption needed to sell it.

This article correctly diagnoses trump. He has only three drives: money, power and ego. If you think that some other underlying policy animates him, then you ate guilt of projecting your own beliefs onto a man who has none.

If the SupremeCourt rules against temp in the tariffs case, what happens to tariffs already collected? Since I don’t expect trump to ever refund those, his refusal and delay would make that the biggest tax fraud in US history.
