Since M/M was in Jade Empire and Dragon Age, I assumed it would be in Mass Effect too. It's one of the few games I pre-ordered bc I was so excited. 😮‍💨

It felt very fanservice-y, and the "well MShep is hetero and FemShep is bi" answer they gave in the forms was a no go for me. The character was meant to be custom.

Feelings are valid. I dropped out after I found out I couldn't date Kaidan/have a M/M relationship in ME1. I followed the game/story somewhat still but never played anything until I got Andromeda on a sale.
I even complained to a former ME staffer who was at a con I attended; they were sympathetic.

So I went ahead and requested off from work too, and started looking into travel options.
I waited too long to figure that out last year.
Gotta find a place nearby to stay this year too.

Given that it will probably be a similar situation to how I got the PS4 (where I had to wait for years and got a once in a lifetime sale/opportunity, and then had no money to buy anything to go with it for a long time), those free PS+ games will probably come in handy. 😅

I even collect the PlayStation 5 ones although I don't own a PlayStation 5 and at this rate probably never will.

It's somewhat amusing that I will have this whole collection of PlayStation 5 only games already if I ever do get one.

I'm already in a Warframe clan so I probably won't switch to join the one my SkyForge pantheon has or may create. But maybe we can link up in another game.

Like Warframe and Smite, I started playing SkyForge when I got my PS4 and didn't have money for any actual games. So I've been playing it just as long as WF (about a decade), just not as consistently.

I always thought I'd reinstall or update and jump back in to see if anything was new or just for nostalgia. I feel sad about missing the last hangout, especially seeing pics our pan leader took and posted in the PS community chat. Might be the first time I'd have seen a game server go down myself.

The game is still in beta, and feels a bit empty yet, with some modes missing and still adding characters from the old game.

Or maybe I've changed in the decade since I started SMITE 1. I can play 2-4 matches a night if I don't have anything else I want to play more, and then I'm bored of it.

But honestly, they could use the remake treatment. Clean up the graphics some so they look nice and they'll sell themselves. Not a full rebuild like FF7 remake.

Also yes I'd love to finish Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. Lost Odyssey was unique IMO in terms of story, mechanics, and music. Blue Dragon had that Dragon Quest vibe while also telling a serious story. I borrowed these from someone so I would have to find both the games and the console.
