Okay, think I figured it out. With Maya's bonus to Stamina training, I was better off picking Speed bonuses in random events instead of Stamina. Still gonna get stomped in the CM.

If Xmas Oguri is only meta if you get perfect stats, and I couldn't previously get perfect stats on my horses, then it seems like there was really no point in trying scout her.

And apparently Xmas Oguri falls off once evolved skills are a thing. Truly a waste of 30k carats on a character that isn’t one I particularly like.
