PCs thanks to their open spec sheets and games still not really enforcing SSDs means devs can't really use big data compression tech like consoles.
The Helldivers 2 case is a very good example for this, the devs want to downsize the game on PC but can't until they drop HDD support.

Having to wait a normal amount of time in-between 2 games instead of getting an at times very rushed product every year is unthinkable!
Horizon 2 being 2027 at the earliest is completely okay esp. if it means a follow-up game won't feel rushed for once.

It's been a bit since I've completely 180'd on a game past its first act, platinum sadly did not deliver.
On the flipside I do have a very clear answer to what I game I played this year had by far the worst narrative.
