(5/2) them for auction, since we did the same exact thing with one of our own suits and the guy flat out told our other assistant, "It's a little about money". Had I been there for the entire interaction- I would have shut it down myself. But of course as stupid as it sounds- I had to pee & took off

(4/2) member of con staff being outright scammed because she actually believed the guy made these. Thankfully she didn't buy all the suits right then and there because the guy did try to sell them to her and before we ever realized they were stolen to begin with, suggested that he simply donate

(3/2) would think it would be okay to push anything- even if it was original merchandise (which it wasn't) onto any vender at all. I'm upset for multiple reasons. My vendor being held accountable when she's probably one of the kindest people I've ever met, being scammed and lied to ourselves, a-

(2/2) piss off a cop in 2026... And the messages between myself and con staff about the situation and photos we took ourselves using Google lens. Trust me when we saw even the knock offs took us directly to the real suit, we took them down right then and there. We're furious a figure of authority

(1/2) Thankfully, yes. At least SOME. There are some brief messages between us & the scammer after we realized the suits were stolen designs where I- admittedly, very passively try to tell him we're not comfortable having anything to do with them, because by no means do I wanna-

(2/2) clearly is ripping off your suit and the few screenshots we have, I can give that. I can even give a full description of his character, his first name, what he went by, where he's likely located to work. I got you. All I'm asking is- next time remember... some people truly just make a mistake

(1/2) Well see now we have a different story. If you obviously knew we didn't make it then now you're aware somethings up even on our end. Condemning anyone over ignorance when they truly don't know something is no longer justice, it's a witch trial. Now if you want information on the man who

(2/2) you're more to understanding. My point was, you could have messaged us personally before posting this online seeing as we were taken advantage of just as well as you in this and would have been more than eager to clear the air with you. Know us or not, the attempt could have at least been made

(1/2) Not my primary point. The "maker" is up for debate as of now as we were told by the security officer he made them while he claimed to a staff member (someone he scammed for $400) that he didn't. Either way- he lied to one if not both of us. And I'm more than sure after explaining things that

(2/2) And while I'm sure the concept of someone selling knock offs of your suit is stressful. Because I know I would be stressed, I also know my Vendor. I know the good person she is & how awful it can feel to attempt to do a good deed without knowing it's paving a road to hell. She really is sorry.

(1/2) You're right on all accounts except for where it was made public. You're the suit/sona owner, thought we made the suits (though the quality difference in ours vs those is obvious). You had every right to be upset & message us over the subject. To make it a spectacle though was just unnecessary

(3/2) That said? Maybe next time message us, so we can clear this up without the drama. Much appreciated! We're more than happy to explain ourselves if we've done wrong by any means. We're not terrible people, just a little stupid sometimes 😅
January 5, 2026 at 8:04 PM
(2/2) No! But the moment we were made aware, the suits came down & that night was spent speaking to higher ups of con staff with evidence including screen shots and someone else confirming he was trying to peddle the suits onto them as well. We apologize for the stress caused to you.

(1/2) Hi, I'm Sahugani. I was assisting for the Crafty Critter Cabin & can 100% confirm for you & those interested, the security guard who pushed these suits onto us for display so he could make some cash has been fired! 😄 Were we ignorant to the suits being stolen designs? Yes! Does it excuse us?
