I think we will probably see a blue tempo deck rise to the top in legacy if history repeats itself.
I also think whilst Forge is a strong contender for best deck now, I think folks now have sideboard slots to tackle it so lets see.

If you have events that are have proxy-friendly, leverage that. Also, folks are typically happy to lend cards/decks if you want to try it out.

I need to ask, what do you mean by 'budget'? Buying into Legacy isn't cheap, but if your community is open to proxy-friendly, this can help as you build. Additionally, I know @beexcellent80s.bsky.social has a few videos on no reserved list decks.

Whether the archetype stays or is part of the legacy of old remains to be seen. I think the UB list is probably dead, but a more all-in version can still perform well.
