I hate playing 76 so much that im rushing to finish the season so i don't have to play it till the next update. Stupid? Yes. But there are worse things to watch. You could also just put me on in the backround if you want to help my numbers

Played Atlyss

Been wanting to try an MMO for a while but since they are designed to be played for 1000s of hours and you can really only play one, I've been avoiding them.

Atlyss is the MMO experience boiled down to a shorter more reasonable amount of time. With enough to replay if you want more

You know in hindsight its probably a good thing this cover up is being handled by the most incompetent people possible becuase otherwise we wouldn't get this information till after they were all dead.

I did play The Grinch: Christmas Adventures.

It was awful. Like if you play games as your primary entertainment there is a temptation to seek out some xmas themed games for the season and the simple grinch platformer is probably your first option. Do not play it.

I try to play as many games as i can each month and keep a tally to make clearing my backlog more fun. I'd say i was clearing out about 10 games a month. With some outliers. Right now though i haven't made a dent this month since im playing all the live service holiday events.

Kinda feels like the game awards judges are biased

Other thing I want to point out. I know gamepass is a good deal on paper but i don't think people have factored in how many of those games are just shovelware. Like somebody needs to go in and double check just what percent of gamepass is just garbage

Played the Grinch: Christmas Adventures

I wanted to play an xmas game since it feels like October gets all the good seasonal games. And of my options this was the easiest to access since it was on gamepass.

It is one of the most mind numbing repetitive platformers i have ever seen. Don't play it

Played Disptach

It was pretty fun and worth the money. But the hype around the game may have set my expectations a little bit too high.

I will say as far as FMV or visual novels go. This is certainly one of the best

AI feels like a natrual disaster or wild animal that you just hope will calm down and stop destroying things. Even though its an entirely man made issue and could easily be stopped at any point. Like its not even a "It's going to take time to fix" issue. Its a tornado with an off switch

Played Ecco The Dolphin CD

It feels like driving a car on ice. I don't really enjoy a game where the main challenge comes from controlling your character.

Its a neat game and it was at its best when i didn't need to be accurate with the controls

The CD soundtrack was good though. Peak 90s CD game

Played Pseudoregalia

The platformer genre is one of the oldest in gaming and Pseudoregalia proves that it can still be built on, and that it doesn't need to be Mario in order to do it. One of the top platformers I have ever played

Played Goat Simulator 3

Its Goat Sim 1 but so much more that it makes the entire first one redundant.

Side note: the game is meant to end with a fake game crash but my game actually crashed so honestly im not sure they can do much more to make it a memorable experience

Played Sonic 2 (Genesis)

Its an improvement from the first even if the level design gets kinda evil sometimes. Still a great platformer.

I'm Streaming Sheepy: A short Adventure. Feel free to tune in and watch me fail

By its name its a pretty short game so its probably only going to take an hour

Played Hallow Knight

Bit late, but the silksong hype got me to go back and finally beat it.

It's good and it's long. I played it years ago so I didn't struggle with any of the bosses this time around. But even with that this run still clocked in around 25 hours. Top 10 medtriodvania still

Was going over potential goty award nominations and came to the horrific realization that the minecraft movie came out this year.
November 12, 2025 at 1:09 AM
Played Pacific Drive

Rougelike, but with heavy focus on resource gathering. Its an enjoyable loop, going out and gathering anything you can untill you start hitting the limits of your cars storage. And the brilliant level design really invokes the feeling of going on a road trip. But dangerous

Ngl most of the time thinking about playing retro games is more fun than actually playing them becuase so many are pretty unforgiving. I end up abusing save states for any game I play before the mid 90s

Is NES Super Mario Bros good? Yes, but getting a game over is so punishing
November 2, 2025 at 1:24 AM
Played Luigi's Mansion

It's a little treasure hunt through a haunted house. I enjoyed it but I don't think I'll be replaying every year

Side note: I used original hardware to do it. CRT and all. Had to order a disk off ebay. Only for Nintendo to put it on switch online right after I beat it

Played Mouthwashing

I'd rather not share details as it should be consumed blind

I will say that it's a piece of media that tears into your soul, like Grave of the Fireflies and In Stars and Time. Part of me changed and I now see the world a bit different. And I never want to touch it again
October 25, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Played Rental

Its barebones, free, and takes 10 minutes. Pretty sure its from a game jam or something, but still a neat little horror game.

My opinion on this is the same on most short free games. The time it takes to play is better than spending the same time scrolling though social media
October 22, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Played Castlevania 2 (NES)

It feels less like a sequel and more like a spin off. With a more open world design, compared to the other early Castlevania games at least.

Unless you are a big Castlevania fan you can skip it. If it hadn't been included in the Castlevania collection I would have
