THE END IS NEAR

Okay, I might not be that serious, but it’s close.
I’ll be in San Antonio this weekend at No Kings.
If you can find a place, go. If not, support.

When tyranny is a fact, revolution becomes a right.
Victor Hugo, French Revolution.

Do it.

We shouldn’t be proud the police aren’t coming to our protests and our demonstrations. That means we’re not making them uncomfortable enough.

We’re boring them.

We’re making a point that’s already been made.

This isn’t good trouble, this is an annoyance.
My theory if anyone cares, broken down into obnoxious posts for clarity.

First, “gang members”
(anyone Hispanic ‘cause they’re scary, and we test did Supreme Court. I even saw an article saying the left needed a “better hero” like you have to be a good guy for due process.)

Y’all. Trump is still defying the courts and hasn’t brought Abrego Garcia home. There’s another gentleman in the legal system right now, and as recently as 4 days ago there was another “pause.” Not stop. Pause.

Can we stop pretending this is over because Pete Hegseth is a drunk and the Pope died?

I’m sorry everybody. I went to Iraq, I was a part it. 200,000 innocents died on our watch. I did my damndest to do the right thing, but it wasn’t enough. It was never enough. I was on the wrong side of history then, and I want to stop that now. Stop it for people like me who can never be redeemed.
April 24, 2025 at 2:19 PM
Guys. I really don’t like this putting people on lists thing, and I’m also not happy about deciding people are terrorists and gangs, and I don’t like rules that are likely to make life hard for Black communities and make it look like they’re needy and aren’t contributing because erasure/rewriting.

You know what my favorite waste fraud and abuse is? When the military does crazy shit in September like order TVs for every office so they don’t come in under budget and get less next year.
April 23, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Yo. So I actually thought we’d have longer because he was going to build the military he wanted and set up a little more solidly, but it’s moving really really fast. I think there’s a reason.

I think he thought he had the Supreme Court after because of his appointments.

I’m loving that people are doing the things now. More please.

Hey DOGE. I found some fraud and waste for you.
April 21, 2025 at 11:24 PM
Fun fact. A million years ago I was very passionate about a political thing that was happening, and due to circumstances barely under my control I was around a lot of it. My charming husband made me desktop picture for my work computer and I still have/love it. It’s more pertinent now tbh.

This woman needs more amplification. Her voice is exactly what we need right now. Thank you, Rep Crockett. I have so much respect for you as a person and a politician.
So are we still more upset about Diverse, but qualified, yet presumed unqualified hires, than DUI hires?

(Asking for anyone who cares about US National Security)

Pete Hegseth needs to go for the safety of the United States & the allies that we still have.

Love is love guys. Love is love.

Taylor Jenkins and Jake LaRavia are in a better place now.
April 21, 2025 at 3:57 PM
So this is hilarious and the story it reminds me of is less than flattering, but early in my career I had a squad leader who was a bit of a drinker. In one of those safety demos you do they had a golf cart and drunk goggles, with a lil’ orange cone obstacle course. His turn, he fucking rocked it.

Important to remember while you’re paying back the loans for the egg hunt this Easter, capitalism sucks.

How would Congress react if Trump removed Pete Hegseth and nominated Erik Prince to replace him? How many people remember Blackwater?
April 21, 2025 at 12:39 AM
I’m trying to write a layman account of where we are and where we’re going, and I cannot keep it brief and focused. There are so many moving pieces that I firmly believe are intentional and aiming for an end point, but explaining each item takes so long I get bored before I’m done. It’s unreadable.
April 20, 2025 at 11:18 PM
I’m gonna say it again. Louder. Like, obnoxious louder with the all caps.

IMPEACHMENT ISN’T ENOUGH. JD VANCE WON’T CHANGE ANYTHING. THE WHOLE ADMINISTRATION HAS TO GO.

Thank you for your patience and (hopefully) tolerance of my complete disregard for internet etiquette.
April 20, 2025 at 9:11 PM
I cannot say this enough. We want ACTION not words. Don’t just express your displeasure in session or on the floor or whatever, go out and find a thing to do. A thing that will help, and publicly. We’ll reward you. (Politically)

After a day of quiet reflection (naps) and politics free passion (basketball) I have two really important things to say about the national trauma of the moment:

1. As worthless as he generally is, Bill Maher confirmed 47 isn’t the idiot he pretends to be.

2. The WHOLE administration has got to go.
April 20, 2025 at 2:37 AM
We need a hero. We need someone who cares more about the constitution than getting reelected. We need someone who can yell and scream to defend our nation, a white man with undisputed credentials, and we need that person to motivate the rest of the nation to fight this. Looking at you, Gen Mattis.
April 19, 2025 at 3:15 PM
How many times does Trump have to ignore the Supreme Court before the “constitutional crisis” is dealt with and his administration is removed? At this point an impeachment won’t do anything, they literally have to take his administration and replace with something temporary so we can resolve this.
April 19, 2025 at 1:06 PM
My dear aunt died at 92 right before the inauguration. She said she asked god to take her before another Trump administration, and he did. As a Pearl Harbor survivor as a kid and she remembered the American planes coming to save them, and was very patriotic. I’m glad she died before she saw this.
April 19, 2025 at 3:19 AM
Guys. I might be crazy, but earlier I said he needed two years to build “his” army, and I was confused it went so fast. I think in all his ego-ness he thought he had the Supreme Court. I think he was sure he could do what he wanted and kill the midterms, but there wasn’t enough time w/o the court.
April 19, 2025 at 2:40 AM
Literally how is this not the only thing anyone is talking about? It’s so unbelievable I even had to check a couple times. It’s so much scarier than anything else they’ve done, because they aren’t even acting like the law matters. They’re openly mocking it. That’s a different kind of evil.

Remember the end of To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar? The cop is there, yelling for drag queens, and Stockard Channing comes out and tells him she's a drag queen. The rest of the towns folk join in. He leaves, thwarted. We need that energy now. Do not comply with the fascists.
