Somehow, this feels like having a parasocial relationship with an entire country.

I love how when shown in a Bluesky feed, it basically looks like she's taking an unusual interest in whatever is above her in the feed.

Hashtags might help. Lots of people who don't want to see that tend to have a list of keywords that will block anything with it from their feed.
It won't keep all the normies out, but it could help somewhat.

I have a feeling if Itakagi was still around, this person would be receiving a genuine katana in the mail, along with colorfully written instructions on where to put it.

No way! You saw Lake Mungo? Seems like everyone I'd talked with up till now hasn't heard of it. It was quite a unique watch. The documentary style of it kept the tension pretty low for me, but it had me talking and speculating for days afterwards with the friends who brought me to see it.
