Agreed, he was just doing his job... in a way that harmed others. I don't think he went home at night worrying about the lives he ruined in the name of getting richer. I'm affording him the same energy.

Karma is a real thing. He made his fortune choosing life or death for others and his death was far more merciful than many of the ones he sentenced his customers to. While I don't agree with murder you can only push a class of people so far down before something breaks. The villagers are hungry.
