Finished: Stay True by Hua Hsu. Rating 3* this memoir of youth, college, and grad school riven by tragedy is well-written, but oddly slow and I never really cared about what would happen next. Good writing though and interesting POV. app.thestorygraph.com/books/9946c8...

Finished: The Year of Less by Cait Flanders. 2* This could be my fault, but expected more of a how-to book than a memoir involving a lot of things I didn’t really care about. I could have just listened to the 10 minute how-to guide at the end of the book. app.thestorygraph.com/books/fe3b83...

Read: The Art of Small Talk by Casey Wilson and Jessica St. Clair. Review 4* First, I love these comedians, being a huge stan of Happy Endings and Playing House. The book is fun and funny, but also gets deep with small talk and has a ton of useful information. app.thestorygraph.com/books/ccdecc...

Read: Inside Out by Demi Moore. Review: 4* Fascinating memoir that details her difficult childhood, up and down romances, and challenges with her body image, which informs her performance in The Substance (which is WILD).

Finished: Dancing on the Edge by Russ Tamblyn. Review: 3* I knew Tamblyn from West Side Story and Twin Peaks, so it was interesting hearing his story, but the book was overly long and unfocused. Good read for those interested in Hollywood & hippie culture. app.thestorygraph.com/books/ed3992...

Finished. The Soul of a Woman by Isabel Allende. My review: 3* Late in the book, Allende describes what I was listening to as an informal chat. Had I had that expectation earlier, perhaps I would have enjoyed the book more.
