was thinking on the bus about how necessary it is to stay so so silly, despite pressure to be stoic and sexy and unflappable and then upon leaving the bus i promptly tried to walk up the down escalator

i really wish i could find a "cog in the machine" type job where they wouldnt try to promote me out of the position im good at. i just wanna clock in, do my time, and clock out
