so hard in fact that the two tracks I’m trying to complete I started ~2020… and their working titles have been “Control” and “Acceptance”. i hadn’t consciously connected the two… but now they are entangled - two sides of the same coin. anyways, i thought this train of thought may be interesting

Gaining the reference down to my track’s LUFs, and then having two minimeters open (one for my track, one for reference), and looking at relative mid/side waveforms for different bands (0-300hz, 300hz-3khz, 3khz-20kHz) really unlocked something for me
