Do you or your crew need to work or encroach into the "spotter zone" within 6.4m of powerlines? ⚡️

Talk to us first. Using a Safe System of Work and an accredited spotter to keep a minimum clearance of 3m from lines might be all you need to remain compliant with ESV guidelines.

7/1 1 service station blade sign needs a temporary removal & refurbishment - but proximity to overhead LV lines meant a power isolation was required.

Once Citipower took care of power isolation & permits, we were there to assist Peak Install with the safe lift.

Lost count of all the boulders dug up on this foundation dig in Epping so far. 😯

Some jobs are like that. Thanks to Amber for the pic.

So many things are wrong here. 😳

Operator was "lucky" enough to survive the initial contact with HV lines, but then he hangs around the truck like the step potential can't fry your insides just as badly. ⚡

Sad news came through today with a WorkSafe announcement that a 49-year-old man was electrocuted last week near Koonoomoo whilst handling a 6.5m length of aluminium pole.

This death is the 36th confirmed workplace fatality in 2025. He was working alone. 😢

This is a Sydney rail network incident, nevertheless the underlying safety principles to apply are the same: if powerlines are down around you STAY CLEAR or if caught in the middle STAY INSIDE (unless in immediate danger).

Wait for the authorities to make safe! ⚠️
