If you want more, good A.C. Clark to read, try the Rendezvous with Rama series because after the first book the remainder were written by Gentry Lee, while Clark read and made editing suggestions. I loved all of them!

I cannot disagree with you on 3001, but sad to say this wasn’t all Clark’s fault. His publisher pushed for this final book and considering that Clark died only eleven years later. Well, enough said.

Don’t stop with 2001, read 2010, Odyssey Two, and 2061, Odyssey Three that continue this amazing story.

I am re-reading it currently, after I found a copy at my library book sale by the friends of the library organization.
