That's not what happened here, though — Engardio's best districts in 2025 were Mar districts in 2022. his best districts in 2022, the most conservative ones, voted to recall him this time around. Mar districts were most likely to vote Yes on K. what different conclusion can we draw here?

Four years ago, SSR was started to make the great highway permanently car-free. Now, sunset dunes is one of SF's most popular parks. Like the embarcadero and central freeway removals, there may be more fights ahead, but we're not going back.

We're happy to see an official Muni sign at Church/Duboce replace our community-installed one after 3 years! They even reused our mounting hardware 🥺

Zohran's right. flex posts need to go the way of Andrew Cuomo's career

"we need bollards, we need to replace these flex delineators... there are New Yorkers who do not bike because they're afraid of their safety... we need to further protect our already protected bike lanes."

another day, another bricked Waymo blocking the bus, this time at Union Square. not sure this is the downtown recovery Daniel Lurie is hoping for

got the pics. Waymo failing to turn from Bush onto Battery for multiple light cycles in a row with traffic backing up behind them. apparently people are just giving up and getting out. imagine if this happened on Market Street and all the backed up cars were Muni buses

this is Daniel Lurie's dream. anybody in FiDi able to grab a picture?

Today is the last day the Great Highway is open to cars! For a throwback, here's a video of our very first slow ride when London Breed added cars back to the Great Highway in Aug 2021. We've come a long way!

we can't afford highways. look at this graphic from the article, transit is just so much more economical
March 8, 2025 at 5:03 PM
We’re at Great Highway & Ulloa where a driver killed a 68-year-old pedestrian on Friday. Had this happened 2 months later it’d be a park and she’d be fine. There were no deaths from May 2020-Aug 2021 when it was car-free. Car-free & car-light spaces make cities safe for all.

Muni LRV door is malfunctioning and fare cops are just standing there useless after citing a couple people on Christmas Day – don’t worry parking, is free today.

Cops are very obviously not what's needed to fix transit, mechanics and operators and more service hours are
December 25, 2024 at 9:24 PM
Cases like this show how car dominance isn't the solution, only equitable and safe walking, biking, and transit will be.

The gap where the waymo drove right between 2 delineators can be seen here

Waymo is still under continuous investigation from multiple local state and federal agencies for violating traffic laws

Exhibit 1 million why AVs aren't as smart as big corporations want us to think they are.

Earlier today a waymo stuck got stuck in freshly poured concrete by laguna honda
