Here's a map of station accessibility in the #Southampton area, created both as a guide for people with accessibility needs, and as a demonstration as to how ridiculous the situation is. For some stations, making the opposite platform accessible is as simple as putting a hole in a fence!

Getting from Marlands Car Park to Westquay is a nightmare. How about the aerial walkway? a) no one uses it, b) all the entrances to Westquay on this side of podium level are closed now.

I've watched countless families make a run for it, #Southampton needs to do better and add a managed crossing.

Great news that 24/7 "nightstar" bus services to Lordshill, Millbrook, Shirley, Southampton General, Woolston, Weston, Portswood, Swaythling and Bitterne begin on Sunday. For the first time, #Southampton has a comprehensive through-the-night bus service, offering a safe journey home for everyone.

Thomas Lewis Way isn't very pleasant to cross - it's a common pedestrian route for school children, people walking dogs,& people going to the shops. I propose we focus on the southern leg and make it more desirable for everyone to use. What are your thoughts? Should the council do this? #southampton
