A benefit of the #SaveOurSigns campaign is we get to learn about all the national parks. Have you been to Reconstruction Era National Historical Park? It includes the Penn Center where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the SCLC staff planned the Poor People's Campaign! www.nps.gov/reer/index.htm

Ooooooo. This is pretty ...

Last night, we met the data-hoarding community. They are fab. Data hoarders meet data librarians. We have a lot in common. We love to categorize and organize our hoards.

To be crystal-clear:
Topics like #TransRights #Trans #Gender #Queer are no afterthoughts, they are the foundation of the whole endeavor.

#SafeguardingResearch started with me (@lavaeolus.bsky.social) cloning GitHub-repos of 'Mapping the Gay Guides' (with their consent) on January 13th.

Please ping us if you know of data that needs safeguarding!
Either here or via the forum.

You can also ask if we already got stuff saved.
We're a team of ~12 core-members and many more in our periphery.
We got storage space and people looking to fill them with data in danger: datasets, research, cultural heritage, etc. pp.

Not only that, but we already got a few TBs saved and are working on making them accessible.
