Anyways, I'm just one irrelevant cog in the machine of Alphabet's data gathering base of users. But if I've thought of this, I'm sure others have as well.

We miss when you had things like "Don't be evil" in your code of conduct. When you'd do fun things. When you didn't suckle the boot of fascists.

Personally speaking, once various expirations and refreshes arrive, I plan on dropping my own services. Dropping my Pixel for a Samsung. My watch for the same. Leaving GoogleFi for another provider. Moving my streaming to another platform.

You get the idea.

Knowing that you've went along with the insane decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico, and then shut off input -- something that would have given you amazing data gathering, no less -- Google has found itself on the wrong side of history.
