1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

The other factor of course, is who does he feel comfortable with personally. He likes the autocrats. He doesn't like democracy. He likes strong men. And so that's why, in the past couple weeks, the US has trash-canned 80 years of international policy and completely switched sides geopolitically.

Tip to foreign policy professionals: The Trump Administration doesn't do foreign policy as typically conceived. There are no strategies. National interests don't matter. What matters is Trump. How can he benefit from international relations? How does he monetize or turn into a PR victory. That's it.
