My current problem is losing a little respect for everyone that tells me they're sorry, they got that content from Chat GPT and it "made up a bunch of crap" and they "forgot to check it" before sending it to me for publication online. At that point, it's the human's fault, not the machine's.

Steel Beach by John Varley is a bit like that. The AI "means well" and kind of does what it wants :)

I just read "On the Night Shift" in Asimov's and loved it. The balance of space science and humanity dealing with disaster was well done and fun to read.
