Continuing our #Colorado adventures today we did the incredibly challenging #ManitouIncline & #BarrTrail. It's one of the most challenging things I've ever done. I'm super proud that I accomplished it, even if I had to go 1 step at a time for the last 268 steps.

Went on a hike this afternoon to #PulpitRock. Elevation gain 564 feet. The trails were nothing like I've done before, but the payoff was worth it. I always thought I was a beach girlie. Who knew it would turn out I was a mountain girlie?

This is my local book clubs pick for the month. Not my usual, but at 10% in I'm amused and intrigued. The 4 foot tall phallic cake w/ realistic globes and spraying whipped cream is probably the reason for the amusement. :D

About halfway through Broken Harbor (Sparrow Falls 3) by Catherine Cowles, and it is NOT disappointing. Both Cope and Sutton are beautifully broken, and finding solace in each other. Can't wait to get back to it. After I write some words of my own, though.

There was a book sale benefiting the local animal shelter. All HC's were $1. There were a TON of books, all from one estate and they were in AMAZING condition. These are what I picked up. Hubs picked up quite a few as well.
