Somehow my English degree didn’t damage my love of pretentious lit fic as much as it probably should have.

(Also I highly recommend Beautyland as something litfic-adjacent that was fantastic. My most recent 5 star read)

I have a chiropractor who also has EDS who pings me behind the ear with a tiny tuning fork attached to a table and a lot of protractors and it makes my entire brain vibrate and then my neck lets my brain let me walk down stairs again until I tweak it once more.

We’ve been reducing its comfort zone all week and cornered it!

We know how it probably got in (gap in garage door, door to garage sometimes doesn’t latch), and are planning to keep an eye out for a while to make sure it’s ALONE.

The manager REALLY values culture fit, transparency, and being willing to be a sticking point when it matters. (It’s a weirdly progressive old-school financial services company)

Our car is a 2010 Prius that won’t fit the biggest harps + a passenger. We were planning to upgrade when we paid off the house, but didn’t want to take on debt when we knew my job was going away

I’ve got 8+ more months on my severance package but my anxiety does not like being unemployed and my autism doesn’t like the lack of structure!

(Also cashing out that severance package would be glorious)

Good to know! I’ve got peppermint spray from a “mosquito is trapped in my bedroom and I’m a few bites away from anaphylaxis” incident a few years back, maybe that will help heed it into the catch-and-release trap I ordered

This is how I’m finally going to convince my wife that we should get a cat again?

The only le Carré I know is adaptations, but it does seem beloved by Lit Bros.

(I both actually like this stuff but also like going toe to toe with bros and saying that I’ve read Infinite Jest and while it’s good, I think they are equating quality with size)
