Which was counted as the 10th and 14th Doctor, but here they made a mistake and accidentally counted him as only one Doctor rather than two

Does the Fourth Amendment apply to people not even in the USA as of currently, they are applying for a visa

I think she is still an MP. She just resigned from the Government

I wonder if that is the game plan. Sue the BBC. Use federal power to restrict them as being foreign media influence etc. Then use the federal threats to force a settlement and favourable coverage?

CBS playbook but with different pressure than corpo merger

I’m not sure Apple has developed a product before that is as compatible with so many devices as this

This was the first Apple Store that really blew me away with how architecturally impressive it is. Been keenly interested in all of the stores since stepping foot in this one

Hate to break it to you, but I feel like they may never let it be over

I’m excited to see where glass evolves over the next several years. I don’t think it’s perfect, but it’s a really interesting take and presumably we will see this evolve everywhere, not just Apple, the same way flat design did after iOS7

The grey jail for non-conformist icons is the worst thing in the world

Empty flights will surely be an effective deterrent…

Because with a foldable, you get two of these smushed together

Or they just don’t care. Think we need some politicians with convictions for what they believe, imagination to come up with solutions outside the Overton window, and bravery to stand by and implement this solutions

Tories and Labour. They think bigging uo Ref talking points helps challenge Ref but when there is zero trust, it just legitimises them.

Only actual solution is to improve people’s quality of life. Sadly centrism is kind of dead and sold out to big business so that’s the last thing they want to do

It’s good as a button

Sadly it does a lot more than just be a button but it’s too clunky to use any of those features

True. Ed Davey has been one of the most disappointing. Very vocal about Trump and Elon which is great

Then posts multiple times daily on twitter, even back in Jan/Feb….
August 28, 2025 at 1:07 PM
Mainstream media too.

Was ludicrous when BBC was printing stories about how wildly Elon was running X while they continued to post on X. Fair play to @theguardian.com for pulling off the platform entirely

Considering data centres is 88% of Nvidia’s revenue, gaming is like a rounding error in the numbers in comparison

Plus, having no primaries to ultimately democratically decide your candidate who then proceeds to complain about a threat to democracy itself is not a great look.

If the Dems put forwards an actual left wing progressive they would have done miles better. But look at how they treat Mamdani still…
August 27, 2025 at 10:51 AM
The status quo doesn’t work anymore and people want a change. That is obvious. The Democrats kicked and screamed to keep Biden, and when they couldn’t have him they anointed his VP with no primary.

If your rival is an existential threat then your being you A game, not your Z game.

I was here earlier this year on a Sunday morning about 10am. It was very busy with Tourists plus some construction. Much less scenic sadly. The lake was tranquil though

When looking at AI energy usage, is the energy per (text) prompt as a metric the same as only looking at the OpEx and ignoring the CapEx already heavily sunk in to the project?

Total skips the huge energy demand from training and development at the start

ISPs allow you to access the internet, which might include porn! Maybe ISPs, who already know you, could do an age check before allowing access to 18+ content? And then we don’t need the OSA!

Almost exactly like they have been doing for at least a decade now!

You get an age verification requirement!

And you get an age verification requirement!
