Does brood parasitism fall under the mysterious category? Because my 10YO is just utterly fascinated by that - seeing a bird feed another bird that was 2/3 times its size and looked nothing else like it just blew his mind.

Giving my hometown B’more some props - I think we’ve got a good number of white men doing good by everyone in the city. We can ALWAYS be doing more to push back on those who don’t do right or wish the city ill, but there’s a lot of people trying hard.

I love that recipe, but I need to share something. I found a recipe in another book that did a similar soup but they garnished it with minced garlic and dried mint fried in olive oil and spooned over. That garnish is a game changer. I’m obsessed.

Agreed and I think all of this happening right before Thanksgiving should be an interesting barometer to see if the needle has moved any with some of the crazy relatives. If nothing else, the conversation will be interesting…
