My husband and I just visited Portland 2 weeks ago. City of Roses fits it much better than “war ravaged”. We took the transit and walked all over. Loved the Chinese garden in downtown! Always felt safe.One thing that stood out to me was that everyone was SO friendly. STOP LYING about cities!
