Yes, I am with you on the matter of alienation--completely. So many seem to have lost any sense of their own humanity, and lost even the inkling that the quest for meaning is a worthy pursuit.

Availability of guns, but apparently it's illegal to produce studies showing how guns promote the American culture of death. Add narcissism and the glorification of violence in films etc and the picture comes into focus a bit.

I love the bizarre pencil-Pennsylvania association. And (because of inflation cut backs this year) the guy is nuttier than a Christmas cake.

At this point the guy is a cypher pointing to nothing meaningful, but standing for all that any freedom loving American hates. We blame, curse at, freak out about this nut case, but it's a shell game and there's nothing in there. Miller, Vance, Vought et al, they're the real enemies.

I wonder how un-admirable Admiral Bradley is getting on with his conscience these days? Does it let him sleep soundly in light of his decision to order these murders?

The ICE gangs-- are they modelled on the snatchers during the time when the Fugitive Slave Act was in force? I am horrified by the inhumanity, but it seems like a theme in American culture.

This was the basis of the idiotic apartheid policy of separate development. It seems like one of the strangest and weirdest things that perhaps the bond between Musk and Trump was somehow unconsciously form through the worst of Calvinism.
