If Yotei is half as fun as Tsushima, I’ll definitely play it. I can definitely say that I’m tired of the open world format in general, and the only open worlds I’ve enjoyed recently at all were Tsushima and Elden Ring.

The optimization crisis has gotten to an absolutely horrible zenith. I don’t think this game has better textures and lighting than 2020s AAA titles, but all of those same AAA games run like ass on even high end gaming PC’s. Every game releases in a broken state now.

Fair enough. One of the reasons I’m holding off on the switch 2 is because I’m a big competitive smash fan, and the online was absolutely abysmal in ultimate.

Peer-to-peer. Basically, every game is hosted on one player’s WiFi connection. If they have an awful connection, the whole match is bugged and laggy. It was standard practice until the 8th generation of consoles, hence why all the old CoD lobbies saw “Migrating to New Host” all the time.
