Oh Gosh, I unfriended her on all of my socials back in 2014 after a debacle where I was on vacation in Vegas and she flaked repeatedly. I didn't get on FB until 2017 and she found me on there a few years later and since it had been a bit, I friended her back? She mostly posts about dogs & birthdays

Prior to this, she posted exclusively about birthdays and dogs on there. So, yikes.

I'm not surprised in the sense that I've always found her somewhat impressionable. But, like, I unfriended her on most socials after that time in Vegas, but she found me after I joined FB, and it had been a few years, so I tentatively friended her back.

So, she made a post on Facebook about Charlie Kirk where she said, and I quote, that he "was a great man."

And then I waded into the comments. It wasn't pretty.

Argh, that was supposed to say 20 years ago. I guess 22 years is more accurate, but not the point

He has about 15-ish years ago. His whole family are objectivists,so he was basically raised with it. He also has some problems with some of it. He definitely believes that some people are born better than others, but he also believes it's the responsibility of those people to help uplift others

The guy who coined that phrase should've trademarked it, the way that the press just jumped on that meme.

You know what? Yeah. I think it is. It's a pretty decent throwback to the original. There is some meta-commentary about "no one wants to see dinosaur (movies) anymore" which I did not care for and have thoughts on, but otherwise, it's solid. Worth watching. Maybe not worth paying full price

The title keeps reminding me of that time in Doctor Who when the moon was an egg and the Earth wanted to abort it, but CLARA had to decide she knew better and went "Nah." Cripes, I hated that episode.

Also, I miss Gawker. Not necessarily Gawker, itself (with a few exceptions), but the other sites that were on Gawker. Sure, they're technically still around, but they're not *good*. Where else am I going to find out what restaurants in NYC are a good place to take a doll?
