Flying home from Rochester, N.Y., after a few days of saying goodbye to Dad and catching up with family. Don’t wait to connect with loved ones, do it as soon as you can.

I recently found out that Mom had never been to a @sacramentokings.bsky.social game, not even in the Arco Arena years — a surprise since she's lived in Sacramento as long as the team has.

That changed last night.

Unfortunately, she didn’t get to see the beam lit, but we still had a great time.

The show was called “Get Real” and it went for one season. Hell, I don’t remember it well. The woman I dated briefly at the time was into it, so we watched a few episodes together.
