I think I'll try to expose it at 500, maybe a few shots at 640 and see how they will turn out.

Looking online I found lots of people shooting it at 640 and getting nice results.

I understand that C-41 pushes it compared to ECN-2 (that's why Cinestill sells 500T as 800), but I'm worried that 800 may be pushing it too much

I'm planning to shoot it during the day but indoors/in low light.

Yeah, they still are, I bought mine a few months ago on eBay for 30€.

It's a cheap way to scratch that rangefinder itch without breaking the bank, and as you said for what they cost they're not bad cameras
