This is a truly independent woman with a dream.
Happy birthday to Shannon Lucid, one of the first six women astronauts chosen by NASA. Lucid, shown during zero-gravity training, was a biochemist & licensed commercial pilot before joining NASA. She flew in space five times starting with mission STS-51G on Discovery in 1985. https://buff.ly/4a2Q29T
